Dekor der Eurosport Lampenmaske vermessen

Hallo Eurosport-Fahrer,

Pavel bittet in seinem Faden um die genauen Abmessungen des Dekors auf der Eurosport Lampenmaske.

Er hat dieses Bild mit Messlinien eingebunden und bittet um Angabe der Maße in "mm" anhand eines Original-Dekors:

Wer kann ihm helfen? Schreibt hier rein, die einzelnen Strecken hat er ja mit Buchstaben und Zahlen markiert. Ich kopiere die Messwerte dann ins einen Faden.

Hope it's not too late.
I have the CX500 E but without the 'blocks' left and right from the headlight.
Anyway, I messured the small stripes and the HONDA logo.
According to the image:

A - 110mm
B - 13mm
C - 13mm
D - 12mm
E - 5mm
F - 5mm
G - 4mm
H - 35mm
I - 245mm
J - 4mm

I tried to be as exactly as possible but I had problems with the value for H and I. For an exact value I need a better image with the exact guidelines.

I will have them when I start the work on painting my bike... CX650E is on its way too..

cool, until then I try to figure out the right color and give your lamp decals a try.

These decals need to be improved a bit.. so.. print them on a normal paper and try to place them on the cowl, if they fit right let me know because I need to improve the tips of the thinner stripes - they are out of shape a bit right now.

If you need the decals desperately, I can start to work on them for you little by little right away but it will take me like 2 weeks before I finish them - I am very busy lately.

I think I gonna try it with paint and fine line tape. Seems more handy to me.

I had a lot of work with it, but I was able to take the measurements of the original decors before repainting....

They cut me the decors on white paper - oracal mat - and then I choose the base colour and painted the decors before placing them on the bike. Then I covered everything with lacquer...



With the CX stripes it is very easy, they are not complicated and quite large. But first print them normally on the paper, place them on the cowl and check if they fit ok, show me how it looks because I would like to improve the tips of the stripes.

Then find someone who will cut out on the plotter using Corel Draw file, on oracal white mat - it is a very good sheet because it can be painted easily, the glossy ones will not paint...
